Founded in January 2026, Lumen AI is a South African education technology enterprise dedicated to democratizing access to opportunity across the continent. We engineer AI-driven solutions tailored for learners, educators, and institutions.
Our flagship product, Baseform, is a centralized management and tracking platform that equips high school learners with the digital infrastructure necessary to seamlessly navigate university and bursary applications. By providing universal admissions rules across all 26 public universities in South Africa and screening for over 150 corporate and state bursaries, Baseform eliminates the systemic application scramble.
Looking ahead, our strategic roadmap expands beyond consumer applications. We are currently laying the groundwork for a robust B2B web and AI automation service arm, designed to optimize administrative and educational frameworks within schools and institutional environments — from automated curriculum degree roadmaps to low-bandwidth cognitive LMS infrastructure.
